Charles Berger is a husband, father, tattooer, painter, and sign writer in Richmond, Virginia, and the owner of Two Pillars Tattoo, located in the heart of downtown. He has been interested in and practicing visual art since childhood, his work spanning a variety of mediums, from watercolor to enamel. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University in 2001, and soon after began working in Richmond tattoo shops, where he was guided and influenced by a number of local artists, both tattoo and otherwise. Charles and his family, at home and the shop, work closely with local charities in RVA as well as the children and classrooms of Barack Obama Elementary School. Our schools should be properly funded and our teachers adequately paid, because the future of our world is dependent on the children of the present.
